Solar Panels

One of the greenest lifestyle changes you can make is to install solar panels to generate your own electricity

Solar energy is a renewable energy source, unlike fossil fuels, and is sustainable, with energy from the sun being free and on tap for no cost to the user. It doesn’t give pollution into the air; it does not release greenhouse gases and therefore does not contribute to global warming or poor air quality.

Another major environmental benefit is that the energy is generated just where it is needed and is going to be used – and does not cost to transport or need toxic storage like nuclear waste.

The energy supplied by a solar panels installed on your roof can be used to offset the energy supplied by your energy provider – it not only reduces the cost of power to you but any surplus can be sold back to the grid. The solar powered generators or your roof will continue to work even if there is a power cut so helping you to become independent.

Though there are changes to the government’s Buy-Back tariff scheme there is still an advantage in having solar panels fitted to your roof in that energy prices are always going to go up, and therefore the value to the user increases over time.  However, you do need some advice on the likely cost and energy production in your particular environment.  SEHBAC Solar Panels will be a long term investment so it is worth taking advice and consulting experts in the field.
